The artwork Tormenting Sediment delves into the intersection of technology and nature, exploring the impact of human actions on the environment. The sculptures, a fusion of natural materials such as coconuts and 3D printed elements, are shaped using a mathematical algorithm that extrudes and deforms the form of the original specimen. This highlights the ability of nature to adapt to and be affected by severe contamination. Inspired by the concept of the radioactively contaminated coconuts of the Bikini Atoll, the installation serves as a commentary on the relationship between humanity and the environment, and the potential consequences of our actions.
